Chuck is an award-winning international photographer covering weddings in europe and worldwide
stunning portraits and true story-telling images in the heart of Italy
Hi, my name is Chuck, I am an award-winning destination wedding photographer covering weddings across Europe and Tuscany, offering pre-wedding and elopement photography around the Mediterranean. I love destinations weddings, they are such a unique experience for you and your loved ones and being there with you to capture every intimate and crazy moment is why I love being a photographer.
Tuscany should be at the top of your list! This region in central Italy is known for its rolling hills, awe-inspiring scenery, and delicious food. Not to mention, it's home to some of the most beautiful churches and villas in the world. As a Tuscany wedding photographer, I am passionate about capturing weddings here. In this comprehensive guide, I will share everything you need to know about getting married in Tuscany – from finding the perfect venue to hiring the right vendors.

What is my wedding photography style?
As your experienced and creative Tuscany wedding photographer, I specialize in capturing all of the special moments and memories from your big day. My photography style is mainly story-telling, candid and unobtrusive so I can capture natural expressions with an unscripted feel that will make for genuine and funny photos. Plus, I will take those beautifully captured couple portraits which can hang proudly on any wall.
I'm an experienced destination wedding photographer and I'll be there two days before your wedding to avoid any possible travelling issues, plus also ensure we can drive around Tuscany for a day or two in your wedding dress or alternatively an evening dress for some extra amazing photos of you both! On your wedding day I will be with you from early morning bridal prep right through to the end of the party!!! Yes - this means if anyone falls drunk at pool I am sure there to capture it 🙂 Being with you all day helps me to get closer with you family so by the time it is ceremony time I am seen more as a guest taking photos of everyone instead of making people feel awkward.
Why wedding photography is so important?
When it comes to your wedding day, there is really no room for compromise. After all, this is one of the most important days of your life; a day that you and your partner will cherish and look back on for years to come. And one of the most important parts of that memory is your wedding photos. These beautiful photos capture all the excitement, joy, and sentimentality of the day: from the look on your partner's face as you walk down the aisle during the ceremony, to all those little personal moments with family and friends throughout the reception or those crazy freshly invented dance moves your besties will perform on the dancefloor.
For these reasons, it is essential to work with a talented and experienced wedding photographer who can deliver high-quality results that truly do justice to this special moment in your life.
That's why I am also so passionate about providing my couples with beautiful wedding albums - these albums will allow you to cuddle up with friends or family later on over a sip wine as you reminisce about your big day, and reflect on just how much your photos mean not only now but in years to come. Whether it's capturing the love between your parents, or immortalizing those stolen moments, exceptional wedding photography should always be at the top of your priority list when planning your big day and budget. So don't settle for anything less than perfect!
Let’s not forget about the golden hour sunsets - there's nothing quite like a Tuscan sunset to make your photos extra dreamy. But with so many amazing photo locations, it can be hard to decide where to go. Here are just a few of our favourite spots for couple portraits in Tuscany.

Your planner will be able to recommend reliable vendors for food, flowers, music, and other essential elements of your wedding. This can be especially helpful if you are new to the area and unfamiliar with local vendors. But one thing to consider when it comes to selecting suppliers is that flying out photographers or from your home country may offer more options than trying to find someone locally.
I find that local photographers often have the same style, and often taking couples to the same spots. This can often result in unflattering wedding photos, but more importantly not a unique experience. Do you really want your wedding photos to look exactly like the other 2000 couples getting married there? Book someone like me and I guarantee you will have incredible and unique wedding photos that will show your real personalities. Ultimately though, having a dedicated wedding planner taking care of all the small details will give you peace of mind throughout the planning process as well as on your wedding day itself. How to plan a wedding in Tuscany
Planning a wedding in Tuscany is exciting, but equally it can be stressful experience if you are unprepared. Whether you are dreaming of a grand ceremony in an opulent villa or a more intimate affair with your closest friends and family, there are many details to work out.
The first step is to find a reputable wedding planner who can help you with all the logistics. While it can be tempting to take on the planning process yourself, hiring a planner will save you time and effort and allow you to concentrate on what's really important – enjoying every moment of your big day!

When it comes to creating the perfect wedding experience, my wedding packages are designed to deliver the best results. With no hidden fees or surprise costs, you can be confident that everything is very straightforward. I usually travel a few days before your wedding in order to avoid any last-minute issues and to give us time to explore the area together. During our trip, we'll have opportunities to take some pre-wedding photos of the two of you at some beautiful locations around town. Most couples love this opportunity because they get so many more photos than they could have taken on their actual wedding day due to scheduling limitations.
Additionally, when working with my packages, you can be rest assured that everything is very transparent. With a flat fee that covers all travel and accommodation expenses, there are no unpleasant surprises. Whether you're planning an intimate ceremony or a larger event, my goal is always to help you achieve your vision and succeed in getting the results that you want for your special day. When it comes to choosing a wedding photographer in Tuscany, there are a few key considerations that you should keep in mind. Firstly, don't just take your wedding planner's recommendations at face value. While planners are terrific when it comes to managing logistics and ensuring all aspects of your big day go smoothly, they may not necessarily have the best taste in photographers. Therefore, it's important to invest some time into doing your own research and carefully selecting a photographer who will truly capture the beauty and romance of your special day.
How to choose the right wedding photography service in Tuscany?
Another factor that is vital when selecting a wedding photographer is language and personality. It's crucial that you are able to communicate easily with your photographer, so you need someone who speaks fluent English and you can bond with. This will ensure that you can establish a strong connection with your photographer and establish trust, ultimately resulting in better photos on your big day. Finally, having a destination wedding photographer often leads to great results and gives you so many options to choose the photographer with the style that suits you the most.
At first glance, it might seem like local photographers all have the same style, and you are right - they do look almost identical. They tend to focus on soft, dreamy photos that are beautifully framed and artfully edited. While this style certainly has its place, in my opinion it is much better to widen your research and book a destination wedding photographer that closer matches your style. Another big drawback with local photographers is that many have very strict guidelines about where they will shoot and what time of day they will work. Choosing a destination wedding photographer opens a world of possibilities, allowing you to think outside the box and choose the locations that best suit your unique vision for your special day. For example, as mentioned above, I am actually there with you for 3 days which gives us plenty of opportunities compared to a 10 hours coverage by the local photographers!
Moreover, booking a destination wedding photographer allows you to tap into a wealth of expertise and experience that goes far beyond traditional photography techniques. These photographers have an eye for quality lighting and composition, allowing them to capture every moment in stunning detail. In short, by choosing an experienced destination wedding photographer, you can guarantee that you will get amazing photos that perfectly capture your big day.
How Brexit affected British wedding photographers covering weddings in Europe and Tuscany
Finally, let's also not forget about Brexit and how it changed things for British wedding photographers. You naturally would consider a photographer based in the UK, but after Brexit they need permits to travel which means extra cost for you as your photographer will try to save money on it, so they may ask you to cover the costs.
Fortunately, I am a European citizen passport holder, so I have no issues whilst travelling and working throughout the EU.
Why should you choose my Tuscany wedding photography service?
